About us
Who We Are
Inspired by Peter Thomas Hodo IV, (1993-2014), For A Good Turn is devoted to creating a culture where kindness is contagious. Thomas’ random acts of kindness to others (often strangers) during immediate times of need is a gift that can be honored and activated with intention. A traumatic brain injury (TBI) survivor of three years, Thomas continued to help people in need during his recovery and his perseverance to graduate from high school in 2014 at the age of 21. Thomas was an avid, passionate car driver – hence the dual meaning of the foundation name: For A Good Turn.
On September 18, 2023, Pete and Cindy Hodo, along with their daughter, Cierra Hodo Rodriguez, held the inaugural meeting of For A Good Turn. It is our intent to inspire others to collaborate and create ripples of positive change which will create far-reaching waves of change – one good turn at a time.
